"I first heard of Duncan Holmes as a young teenager. I finally had the privilege of meeting him in 1995 at the Monadnock Bible Conference Center in NH. The Gospel Association for the Blind (GAB) had held a week of camp for the blind there annually for 35 years. Duncan began acting as staff musician for the GAB camp in 1988. (updated)Duncan is no longer working as a staff musician for the GAB camp. He is currently serving on the board of the National Church Conference of the Blind. Since Duncan is a brother in Christ and a musician, he quickly became a friend and mentor. He has graciously invited me to sing at his programs when he tours in the area. I have lost count of the many times he has acted as my accompanist. Duncan donated his time, talent, and original songs to recording my CD, Speak To Me Now: a Journey. His help made the CD a reality, not just a dream. In addition to being a gifted pianist, Duncan is a man of integrity who loves the Lord. He has a way of making people of all ages laugh and cry as he shares his music and stories in different venues. I am blessed to be able to call Duncan a friend. His willingness to serve as one of the board members for Out of Sight Ministries is also appreciated!"

Our retirement community at Menno Haven loves music of many styles. For two years now, Duncan has come and blessed us with God's love heard through his piano and talented singing voice. He engages the audience in an inviting and energizing way. Our people always come away inspired and challenged. He is able to do such variety of styles of music that folks who are usually not into music of a certain style are captured by Duncan's spontaneity. Even non-religious folks were blessed by the spirited concert. Duncan made us think and step back and see life in fresh new ways, as well as inspired and entertained us all the while. He captured us by showing both the serious side of life as well as the holy humor side of life.
