Statement of Faith

2. I believe that there is but one God: Creator of all things seen and unseen.  I affirm all that the Scriptures say about Him.  

3. I believe in His One and Only Son, the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  I believe that this same Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, "went about doing good"-as the Scriptures say, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried.  His cruel death on the Cross paid the sin debt we as sinful human beings could not pay.  

4. I believe in the glorious and victorious Resurrection of that same Jesus, who conquered death.  

5. I affirm His glorious Ascension to Heaven, and I believe He is coming again to take those who've truly trusted Him as Saviour and Lord to be with Him forever.  
I believe that salvation can only be obtained "by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone".  We cannot save ourselves, nor is there salvation in any other!

6. I believe in the Holy Spirit, who resides in all who have truly trusted Christ as Saviour, and that His residence within believers enables them to live Godly lives.  

7. I believe that there is but one Church throughout the world; that the Church is the Body of Christ on earth and that only those who have truly believed in Christ for their salvation comprise that Body called the Church.  

8.  As stated above, I believe that salvation can only be obtained through Christ and that those who reject Him and His payment of our sin debt will have to spend a Christless eternity in a Christless hell of agony.  
MY AIM: I want to convey this Good News of salvation through what I play, through what I say and sing and in how I live my life on this earth.  St. Barnabas (see the Book of Acts) was an encourager; like him, I want to be an encourager for Christians to persevere in the faith, run the race before them and finish strong!
